Charquini Trekking Tour

Charquini, at 5,390 meters above sea level, is one of the most accessible mountains for experiencing snow in Bolivia’s rainy season and admiring stunning Andean landscapes. Located in the department of La Paz, Bolivia, Charquini offers a rewarding and scenic hike.

The hike starts at Laguna Esmeralda, a beautiful lake at 5,000 meters, where private transportation drops youoff. From there, you’ll enjoy a 1.5-hour uphill hike to the Charquini summit, followed by a 30-minute descent.

Although the hike is not super hard, reaching the high altitude and climbing uphill makes it a challenging adventure with breathtaking views along the way.
